Magnetic Cat Eye Gel Polish contains thousands of tiny metallic particles that respond perfectly to a magnet, creating unique patterns and bright reflections on the nails. The formula is additionally enriched with fine shimmer that works together with the magnetic particles: it fills the space between the main reflections, adds depth and makes the light pattern more vivid and dimensional, even under different lighting angles.

The unique Magnetic Cat Eye formula combines two effects — cat eye and shimmering glow. This combination allows you to create a manicure with impressive depth, dimension and beauty. The nails look not simply shiny, but almost alive, with a constant play of light.

The cat-eye effect itself is an optical effect created by the magnetic particles in the gel polish. When exposed to a magnet, these particles align in a specific direction, forming a characteristic light stripe or pattern reminiscent of a cat’s pupil. Combined with the stained-glass transparency of the base and the soft shimmer of the particles, the result is multi-dimensional — the light seems to pass through the material rather than simply reflect from its surface.

Application Method

1. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep.
2. Apply Fix Base or Rubber Base. Alternatively, strengthen the nails using the LUNAmoon gel system. Remove the sticky layer.
3. Apply a layer of Magnetic Cat Eye and create the desired reflection using a LUNAmoon magnet. Cure for 60 seconds at full lamp power.
4. If needed, apply a second thin layer. Cure for 60 seconds.
5. Apply the top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
